How to Prepare a Rosebud Infusion
1. Measure – Place 5–6 dried rose buds (about 1 teaspoon) into a cup.
2. Boil water – Heat fresh water until just boiling.
3. Steep – Pour the hot water over the rose buds and let them infuse for 5–7 minutes.
4. Strain & enjoy – Remove the buds (or leave them for decoration) and enjoy the delicate floral tea as is, or sweeten with honey.
Tips:
- For a stronger flavour, steep longer or use more buds.
- Add a slice of lemon, a cinnamon stick, or a few cardamom pods for a twist. Their soft floral taste pairs well with many flavours, including chocolate, vanilla, raspberries, cinnamon and many more.
- Serve hot for relaxation or chill and ice it for a refreshing summer drink.
